VOGUE Dance Company has a fantastic and talented staff. All of our staff members were once dancers and have many years of training in the art.

Miss Tina started dancing at the age of 3 at The Dance Shoppe, and was trained in tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe & ballet. She went off to get a bachelors degree in apparel design and a minor in business. She started her teaching career in 2004 and was the Creative Director and head performing line teacher for 9 years at a Bravo Dance Company/Dance Fever Studio Inc. Miss Tina’s award winning choreography has brought her many judges choice awards, 9 choreography awards, 4 National competition championship titles, 142 high point awards, and 46 Regional competition titles. She choreographed the featured act “Roxanne” which performed in Branson, Missouri for the Kidz Roc Show in July 2012. You can view 5 videos of her top scoring dances at the Hall Of Fame Dance Challenge website (She Bangs, Roxanne, Magalenha, Diamonds, and Dream). She has been designing and making costumes for dancers since she was 15 years old and has won over 30 costume awards for her designs. Miss Tina also made her judging debut in 2013, for the nationally recognized dance competition Midwest Starz! Tina is truly passionate about what she does; she has an eye for the smallest details and takes enormous pride in her artistic craft. She loves each of her dancers as if they were her own and is devoted to teaching so much more than dance!
Outside of the dance world, Tina has over 12 years sales experience. Her husband, Nick, is a personal trainer, massage therapist and ultra marathon runner. They have 2 little darling dancers of their own…Lilyanna & Aubrielle!

Miss Tasha has been a part of the dance community for a total of 16 years not only as a teacher, but also as a competitor herself. She grew up with Dance Fever Studio Inc. and was a top competitor at the studio, taking first place titles, and many other awards as a soloist. Her teaching career flourished immediately. In the last 5 years as an instructor, Miss Tasha holds choreography, judges choice, best in category, platinum and over 40 high point awards. In 2011 one of her dances took the Grand National Teen Division at nationals. She also has experience teaching master classes, and has taught in two local conventions.
Other than dancing... Miss Tasha has been a PCA (personal care attendant) for B's Homecare Inc. for 6 years. There she specializes in working with children with Autism, and helps out with their every day essentials. In the past she has also worked as an Office Manager for the same company. She is currently a student at Anoka Ramsey Community College working towards her degree in Business with a Marketing/Management emphasis.

Recreational Lines / Summer Recreational Classes
Miss Carrie has had a passion for dance and teaching since she was a child. She grew up in a competitive dance studio, The Dance Shoppe, in the twin cities, and was exposed to many different forms of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, modern, pointe, and hip hop. As a dancer, she has won numerous awards for her group and solo performances, performed at the NFL Superbowl XXVI, and has won a scholarship with a professional dance convention 3D Dance Network with choreographer Gregg Russell. Carrie’s teaching and choreographic style has been influenced by her dance teachers growing up, but also by the professional choreographers she has encountered through touring dance conventions, college, and during a trip to Los Angeles, CA to visit the Tremaine Dance Studio where she learned from choreographers such as Wade Robson.
Miss Carrie has great passion and experience as a dance teacher and an assistant teacher for people young and old. With a background in pediatric psychology, Miss Carrie loves to teach small children and utilize reinforcement techniques to nurture her dancers’ development. Carrie is married and a mother of two small children, William and Gabriel, and appreciates the family atmosphere that VOGUE Dance Company creates. “There is nothing in the world like watching my little dancers on the stage after a year of hard work. The looks of pride on the dancers and their families’ faces after recital is why I became a teacher.”

Miss Hannah started dancing at the age of 3 at Dance Fever Studio, Inc/Bravo Dance Company. At 9 years old she began dancing competitively. When Miss Hannah was 13 years old she began assistant
teaching recreational line classes and the very next year she was assisting performing line classes. She spent six years of her dance career competing as a soloist and winning many high point, stand
out dancer, & other specialty awards. Miss Hannah was a part of the the routine "Roxanne" in 2012. With this number her and her teammates won many first place high point awards, and were
hand selected to travel to Branson, Missouri to perform the Kidz Rock production.
Last year Miss Hannah began her teaching career and had her very own recreational line classes, assisted performing lines, and also choreographed solos and trios. Her trio received high point awards in all three competitions they participated in!
Miss Hannah recently graduated from Aveda Minneapolis Institute in the Cosmetology field. Hannah and her entire family have always had an amazing passion for dance! She not only enjoys the artistry of dancing, she enjoys the family connection she is apart of at the studio.
Recreational Lines / Father Daughter
Miss Jenna has been involved in the dance community for 19 years. Beginning at the age of 7 she quckly developed a love for the art of dancing. At 10 years old she joined competition and competed in over 30 regional and national competitions. Miss Jenna was asked to be an assistant teacher the the age of 13 and continued assisting until graduating high school. She also developed a love for the stage by doing multiple plays and studying drama throughout her school years. After graduation she was asked to join the teaching staff at Dance Fever Studio, Inc/Bravo Dance Company and gladly accepted! This is Miss Jenna's 7th year teaching and she enjoys every moment of it. Her favorite part of teaching is watching a little one's eyes light up when they finally perfect a dance move they have been working hard on. Miss Jenna cherishes all of the bonds and memories made throughout her years of teaching, and is excited to make more!
Miss Jenna works full time at a OBGYN Clinic in Minneapolis, MN and stays very busy chasing around her 3 year old son, Leighton!

Performing Lines / Solos, duets, & trios
Miss Marlee began dancing at the age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since. She grew up dancing at a local studio where she danced just for fun but when Marlee turned 15, she decided to make the switch to competition dance and began dancing at Dance Fever Studio Inc. There, she was a part of many high point and specialty award winning group dances. As a soloist, she also received many high point and judge’s choice awards. In 2009, Marlee won the Senior National Solo Showdown at Hall of Fame Dance Competition in Orlando, Florida.
Marlee has been trained in many different dance styles such as: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Clogging, and African. She has attended many dance conventions such as The Pulse and Dance Olympus. She has also attended the American College Dance Festival for the past two years. This past March, one of the pieces Marlee performed in was chosen to be in the Gala on the final night of the American College Dance Festival. It was a huge honor considering only 10 dances were chosen out of 60!
Marlee began assisting when she was 12 years old. When she turned 18, she started teaching privates lessons and at conventions at Bravo Dance Company. She is extremely excited to start her first year as an official teacher at Vogue Dance Company!
In 2010, Marlee graduated from the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists where she studied dance. This past June, Marlee graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College where she majored in Psychological Science and minored in Dance.
Miss Sherri started dancing at the age of 3 at J & L Dance Studio in Anoka, MN. At the age of 7 she started dancing at Dance Fever Studio. The next year she started dancing on the competition lines. She has competed locally and nationally at over 30 competitions. At the age of 13 Miss Sherri began assistant teaching, which she continued to do through graduation. She has 28 years of dance experience. 10 years of competitive dancing and 14 years of teaching.
In her senior year of High School, Sherri started teaching recreational lines for ages 3 through 14 at Dance Fever Studio. She has also taught at Candy King’s School of Dance, Dance Fever Studio Inc./Bravo Dance Company and Vogue Dance Company.
While Miss Sherri has taught both recreational and competitive lines, she enjoys the teaching the older recreational lines them most. She likes to challenge the dancers to dance at a higher skill level than they thought they could do. She is trained in Jazz, Tap and ballet, but thanks to an amazing Tap teacher she had while growing up, Tap has become her favorite.
Miss Sherri received a degree as a Medical Assistant from Anoka Technical College in 2006. She has worked for CPMG/Fairview clinics for 10 years in the Allergy, Internal Medicine, Family Practice and Pediatrics departments. Miss Sherri likes to spend her free time with her husband, Nick, their 2 year old daughter Sadie, who is starting to follow her mom’s footprints to become a dancer.

I love watching my student’s progress throughout the year in their dance skills and their confidence. It makes me proud to hear how excited they get after they walk off the stage at recital with smile on their face. I’m so happy that I get to be a part of the Vogue Dance Company family.”
Miss Shelby started dancing at the age of 4 and has had a passion for it ever since. Throughout her 15 years in the dance community she has been trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical and her all-time favorite, tap. As a young dancer, she performed at Walt Disney World in Florida for Disney’s Magic Music Days, and participated in a behind the scenes dance work shop at Walt Disney World’s MGM Studios (Hollywood Studios). Miss Shelby started assisting recreational and competition lines at the age of 13, and she continued to do so until she graduated high school. Throughout her years as an assistant teacher she was inspired and became passionate about the world of dance and teaching young dancers. At the age of 20 she started her teaching career as a competition line and recreational line teacher, as well as a solo teacher.
Miss Shelby is attending school majoring in Nursing in hopes of becoming a neonatal nurse in the future. Alongside her schooling she is extremely excited to continue her journey as a dance teacher at Vogue Dance Company. She has a huge passion for working with children and her favorite thing is seeing the dancers walk out of her classroom with a smile on their face!

Miss Laura has always had a passion for dance. She began dancing at the age of five and soon joined a competition team. Throughout her 14 years of dance as a student she was trained in a variety of dance styles including jazz, lyrical, ballet and, her favorite, tap. She has performed in group routines as well as duets and trios. She has received specialty awards throughout her dance career including standout dancer awards. As a young dancer, she performed at Walt Disney World in Florida for Disney’s Magic Music Days, and participated in a behind the scenes dance work shop at Walt Disney World’s MGM Studios (Hollywood Studios). In 2012 she was part of a team performance called “Roxanne” that was invited to perform in the production, Kidz Rock, in Branson Missouri. At the age of 13 she began assistant teaching and continued until her high school graduation. Through assistant teaching she found a passion for inspiring other students and helping them to develop their own talents and passions for dance. She finds there is nothing more rewarding than helping a child realize their potential and learn the power of this wonderful art form.
Miss Laura graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2016 with a major in cellular and molecular biology and a minor in psychology. While at college, she also participated in dance club teams on campus. She is very enthusiastic about dance and looks forward to working with your children and helping them grow to love dance the same way that she does.
