Miss Carrie has had a passion for dance and teaching since she was a child. She grew up in a competitive dance studio, The Dance Shoppe, in the twin cities, and was exposed to many different forms of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, modern, pointe, and hip hop. As a dancer, she has won numerous awards for her group and solo performances, performed at the NFL Superbowl XXVI, and has won a scholarship with a professional dance convention 3D Dance Network with choreographer Gregg Russell. Carrie’s teaching and choreographic style has been influenced by her dance teachers growing up, but also by the professional choreographers she has encountered through touring dance conventions, college, and during a trip to Los Angeles, CA to visit the Tremaine Dance Studio where she learned from choreographers such as Wade Robson.

Miss Carrie has great passion and experience as a dance teacher and an assistant teacher for people young and old. With a background in pediatric psychology, Miss Carrie loves to teach small children and utilize reinforcement techniques to nurture her dancers’ development. Carrie is married and a mother of two small children, William and Gabriel, and appreciates the family atmosphere that VOGUE Dance Company creates. “There is nothing in the world like watching my little dancers on the stage after a year of hard work.
